PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE
Dear LMS families,
Welcome to Lakewood's Excellent Adventure! This year we are going to travel back in time to learn from historical figures about how to be the best Lancer possible! We will have monthly challenges to complete in order to "unlock" historical figures and prizes. Students will be earning Excellent Tickets towards individual prizes and special events. Oh, and I'm sure we will learn some English, Math, and Science along the way!
To kick off the year, we are hosting a family movie night on Thursday, August 6th at 6:30 pm in the LMS gymnasium. We will be viewing Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure. The event is free admission to all, with a concession stand available to purchase food. Free school supplies will be available on a limited basis. Students who attend will leave with their schedule for this school year. All other students will receive their schedule in the mail beginning Friday, August 7th. (Just a reminder, Final Forms must be updated before your child can receive his/her schedule.)
Open House will be Tuesday, August 18th from 5-6:30 pm.
School starts Thursday, August 20th. Can't wait to see you there!
