JOB GOAL:
To serve as the district leader in the area of interscholastic athletics and is responsible for all aspects of the district athletic program in grades 7-12.

Lakewood High School (Hebron, OH) is seeking a new Head Varsity Boys Basketball Coach for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year.
Potential candidates should have, or be able to obtain, the following certifications: Pupil Activity Permit from ODE, CPR and First Aid certifications, and completed concussion training. The coach who is hired must also complete a background check with the school district prior to being approved by the board of education.
Former coaching experience at the high school level or higher is required, and time spent as a head coach is preferred. Candidates should seek to create a culture that fosters growth and success for our student-athletes, be willing to work with local youth leagues to aid in growing the sport in our area, and work with district employees to ensure that district and department goals are being worked toward.
