We serve a variety of fresh fruits and vegetables, as well as tasty entrees every day. Did you also know we serve breakfast every day? Research shows that students who skip breakfast have shorter attention spans and don't do as well on tests.

MEAL SERVICE PLAN FOR 2023-2024 SCHOOL YEAR
The USDA has discontinued its Pandemic Relief Universal FREE Meals to all students for the 2022-2023 school year. This is unfortunate, as we have many families and students who greatly benefited; however, due to the unavailability of free lunch, families will once again be eligible to apply for Free and Reduced Price Meals.
If your family qualified for Free or Reduced Meals during the 2019-2020 school year, your current students will have the same benefits at the start of this school year. In order to maintain the same benefits, families will need to fill out a new Free and Reduced Meal Application (see below) by September 30 without being charged full price for meals following that date. If you qualify through DIRECT CERTIFICATION, you will receive a letter before the start of school and you WILL NOT need to fill out an application.

Eligibility criteria have changed and more families may now qualify for free or reduced-priced meals.
We encourage all families to fill out an application. Only one application per household is needed.

LUNCH PAYMENT
We use a point-of-sale system called Quik-Lunch to record each child's lunch payments.
Each student enters their PIN number (assigned when they enroll) into a keypad each day.
Students may make deposits to their account at any time. Payments may be made by cash, check or money order or on-line through Payforit.net.
Please make checks payable to Lakewood Food Service.
UPDATED PAYFORIT PASSWORD INSTRUCTIONS
Your new password must be between 8 and 128 characters and not contain more than two (2) identical characters in a row. In addition, it must meet at least three of the four rules:
- Previous passwords cannot be reused
- 1 uppercase letter (A-Z)
- 1 lowercase letter (a-z)
- 1 digit (0-9)
- 1 special character
