Last night at the regular January Lakewood Local Schools Board of Education meeting, Superintendent Scott Coffey announced his plans to retire at the end of this school year.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Valid Ohio Educational Aide permit.
- Must complete paraprofessional requirements
- Proper certification in First Aid, AED and CPR
- Willing to participate in district in-service training
- Neat appearance
- Successfully complete and pass a BCII and FBI check
- Certified Position

The major role of the Intervention Specialist is to provide developmentally appropriate educational opportunities for assigned students with disabilities and to effectively address the exceptional and individual strengths and needs of assigned students and to provide information to their parents.
